Parts Management

Hi,

i'm a newbie at this database programming. I've looked at some examples but
cannot solve this query!

I'm trying to create a database for my place of work which can deal with
"parts" that are made up of "parts". I want to create a table called parts
which has a number of fields to do with the parts e.g like part no,
description etc... I'm not however how to create the hierarchy structure in
the database?
For example;
A bicycle is made up of a wheels, which consist of tyres and a rim

Can anybody help? Thanks
