partition selection in answer file for unattened installation.

dear friends.
i want to perform an unattended installation by using an answer file. i have
already installed windows xp in C:\ drive. now i want to install windows xp
in my E:\ drive . but we installation begins by answer file it installs in
D:\ drive. i have tried to make

[Data]
AutoPartition=3

but it does not works.
can any one help me plz

Try using the /t:E switch if you're starting your installation with
winnt.exe. If you're using winnt32.exe to start your installation use the
/tempdrive:E switch. That insures that the installation files are copied and
installed on the E drive. Your use of the AutoPartition entry in the Data
section is incorrect. AutoPartion simply uses the next available partition
which in your case is D.

I am booting form CD and Directly installing form it. So i have made an
answer file winnt.sif and stored it in A:\ all works well but it does not
installs in E:\. Now what entry sould i made to my answer file so i could
install it in E:\.

I haven't tried this but I think you need to edit your winnt.bat file and
add the /tempdrive:E switch to the winnt32.exe command.
