Had a huge problem this am.
Then tried to fix it and by mistake i removed the boot

Now it says i have no operating system.
I have my ORIG WIN XP PRO CD.
And with that i can get to RECOVERY CONSOLE and winxp set
up
But when i try and re set it up it asks me to format my hd
I have 120gb of stuff i need on it.
How can i get around this problem.
I have tried the following things in R CONSOLE.

Best I could suggest is to temporarily install the drive
in another computer, backup ALL the files you need,
then put the disk back in your original computer and
go ahead and re-format it.

I also seem to remember something about a DOS command
that went something like 'FORMAT /B'. It was supposed
to renew the boot track. DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR CURRENT
SYSTEM AS IT MAY REALLY MESS IT UP.
