Participant removed from conversation due to inactivity

Greetings,

It's been suggested before (as you know) and turned down I'm afraid. You might be able to
code something to randomly a "ping" or something every 5-10 minutes to overcome this though.
There's several APIs including a managed API in Windows Live Messenger that would assist with
this.

How hard can it be to put in an option that says don't timeout
conversations or timeout after 86400 seconds. My guess is this is a
server side resource decision. I guess all I can reply with is "That
is just WONDERFUL".

Thanks for the hint on the ping api ... one day when time permits I'll
do some looking around.
