parse text from memo field in access

i want to find a way to have the user input a list of bullet statements (copy
and paste text from a word document) into a field on a data access page and
then i want another data access page that will display the parsed bullets as
seperate records for later viewing. I will later sort and filter those
records. The bullet statements will be started with a "-" and sub-bullets
will have a "--". Is this possible. i have a fair amount of knowledge when
it comes to MS Access and Visual basic for applications, but I am unsure
where to start. Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

The only type of field that could remotely accept what you want is a rtf. As
far as parsing the info after entered may be more trouble than its worth.

I would design the data access page to capture the pasted text as separate
records from the beginning.

I guess I do not know as much about Access as I thought. I know your time
is valuable, but can you point me in the right direction as to how to do
that. I can not have the user parse the data themselves becasue of time
constraints, so the eaisest way is to have them just copy and paste the
bullet statements into a box and just click the submit button. If you could
help me get started, that would be great. I would really appreciate your
help. Thank you in advance.
