You can set the system tray icon to not show, but it will show again after a
scheduled scan. It works much of the time, but not all of the time. This
is in options, general, as I recall.

There are also command-line parameters to do a scan with no UI. See the
Faq.

I can't say that I recommend them--mine is set that way, and I've been
unable to reset it to show the UI!

He's talking about a silent, unattended installation of the
program, not scanning.

I also am looking for some command-line parameters for both
the installer and executable. Anyone know if there's a
list out there?

If you search long enough in one of these groups someone figured out some
kludges to get this to almost work right from a silent unattended install.
It was definitely not intened for that now but the info is around here.

The poster wasn't clear, so...

I *think* there is - I do not know it.

The faq has a link to a procedure.

There is also an unattended uninstall, which I think may be more useful to
enterprise users--frankly, I think in an enterprise which uses scripting and
unattended installs, this beta is going to create problems, although it may
solve others.

Here's the uninstall--as I say--the install is linked to in the FAQ, which
is linke to in my sig.

MsiExec.exe /X {536F7C74-844B-4683-B0C5-EA39E19A6FE3} /L*vx /Log c:\msas.log
/quiet

I must admit to being uncertain about whether there's a space following the
first /L.

I haven't tried this out myself.
