Paper size error

I have changed the paper size in the Page Setup -> Paper Size options to the
exact specifications of the paper I want to print on. Yet, when I actually
try to print, I keep getting a Paper Size Error, am told to change the
settings under the same menu I was just in, and retry. I have changed and
rechanged and turned the paper many, many, many times. And I still get the
same message. I don't know why I can't just bypass this and make it print
anyway.

Will the printer drive handle the paper size you are trying to configure?
You can only set up sizes the driver will allow. If necessary set up the
next large standard size and make up the difference with margins. There is
no way to set up a page larger than 22" .
Larger pages than the printer can handle will always result in an error
message.

The paper size is 4.7" by 4.7". The paper feeder adjusts to hold the paper
fine.

It is nothing to do with the paper feed but the printer driver. (I
overlooked the missing 'r' from the end of 'drive' in my earlier reply.)
Use a larger standard page size and make up the difference with margins.

Hi alongdrive,

You might need to change some settings on your printer so that it can correctly report its configuration to your PC. If so, this
should be documented in your printer manual.

You might also need to tell Word to output to the manual paper feed or another print tray, if that's what you're using. You can do
this via the 'Paper Source' dropdown box under File|Print|Properties>Paper/Quality.
