Panasonic Toughbook CF-48 NIC Card Drivers

Just finished doing a cean install of XP home on an older PIII 600 Panasonic
Toughbook Model CF48. My problem is that the XP did not recognize the
network card and I don't know what brand or model it is.

Going through the system manager has yeilded NADA and so has calling
Panasonic's tech support. Short of taking the beast apart - something which
Coors hasn't made enough beer to do - does anyone have any idea what type of
network card is in there?

Run Everest, it should tell you what's there.

You must install the chipset drivers before all other drivers. Also I'm not
familiar with panasonic, but most computers have some kind of "notebook
system software" (might be called something else) that also has to be
installed before you can install the other drivers. Check with panasonic
support site. To find out which card you have, go here:
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html No need to open the case.
