PALM uninstall fails with Error 1606,::\ Docs&Setngs\default\sendto

I upgraded from WinME to XPpro and tried to reinstall PALM Desktop for T2. The add/remove program starts the wizard and then pops up with the Error 1606 Could not access network location "::\Documents and Settings\Default\Sendto". Does anyone have any ideas on what I can edit, perhaps in the registry, to get the wizard to move on? Thanks.

You probably need to contact Palm, in hindsight it would have been
better to uninstall before beginning.
Is the installed palm software compatible with Windows XP?

I am having the same problem when I try to install my upgraded Palm
Desktop for my T5. The add/remove program starts the wizard and then
pops up with the Error 1606: Could not access network location
"::\Documents and Settings\Default\Sendto". The software is compatible
with Windows XP which I have. Did anyone ever find a solution? Thank
you.
