In the past 2 months since I have gotten Vista I have had issues with my
device connecting to Vista. I have my device connect to back up my contacts,
calendar, other information on it, and have it connect so I can get online.
There was a point when the problems stopped. Recently I have had it connect
and a minute later disconnect. Then I would have have to unplug it and
re-plug it 10-15 times before it would stay connected for lengthy amounts of
time. I have uninstalled Mobile Device Center, restarted Windows, plugged
the device in the USB port, and then installed Mobile Device Center. I have
been told that Windows Mobile 5 is not fully compatible with Windows Vista
and it is better used with Windows XP. I have also gotten the following
error message every time I successfully complete a synchronization:
Sync Error
Partnership: Treo
Sync item: Treo
Severity: Error
Details
Microsoft Office OneNote: attention required
How do I fix any of this. I even have Microsoft Office Mobile 6.1
(including OneNote) installed on my device.
Any information will be appreciated.
