Paint problem

I keep getting the following error message when I try to
access Microsoft paint, can anyone help me to resolve
this please?

the dll maybe corrupt or incomplete. Try going to places
like www.dllfiles.com and downloading a new mfc42u.dll and
then register it by going>start\run and type in regsvr32
mfc42u.dll and hit ok. Be sure you put a space after the
regsvr32 Keep smiling.
