Paging file problems???

On my Windows 2000 server machine, I was getting disk
errors in the event log saying "An error was detected on
device ... during a paging operation." pointing to one of
the SCSI drives. I installed a new known-good IDE hard
drive and moved the entire paging file onto it. The
original error has followed the paging file, and now tells
me "An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\DR1
during a paging operation." which is on the new drive. Any
suggestions as to what might be causing this?

Make sure that you have explicitly set the paging file so that there is zero
bytes of paging file on the SCSI drive.
