Pagefile Doesn't set

Anyone know why my pagefile refuses to use the size i specify? And yes I
click set etc and reboot and it saves my setting but windows just doesn't
implement it and uses its *recommended* size. In my case, that's a 1.1gig
pf on a laptop lol. I have all updates but just don't know what is causing
it, maybe some software of some kind? Anyone have any ideas?

Windows XP Home SP2
Dell 600M - Pentium M 1.4
768 megs of ddr
40gig drive

I have seen reports that some recent Symantec software has this effect.
I have got to the point where I will not have any of their products
anywhere near a machine I deal with. Other possibilities, see Problems
