page size in frontpage

Whats a good page size to use in frontpage. Im making a website with pics of
the kids for family and frontpage defaulted to 1374x966. On my computer it
looks great but on my dads computer it was huge. I set page size to 760x420
(800x600 maxed) and now it seems so small. Is that the size I should use for
to fit the majority of computers?

Yes, 760 is the recommended width, but why bother with the the depth. Just
let the page expand according to content. (I think it will anyway.)

BTW, It is not the size of the screen used by viewers that matters - it is
the size of the window. Users can choose to open their browser in a smaller
window and I have read that many with higher resoultion screens restrict
their web page windows to 800*600.

So I set the width to 760, should I leave the depth blank or just put in a
big number? Also is it possible to make it centered on a screen with a higher
resolution?
Thanks for your help

Leave the depth ( height ) blank.
The page will automatically expand to accept the content.

Easiest way to centre the content is to place all the content in a one
row, one column table with the desired width (760px) and centre the
table, set borders to 0 to hide them.
