Hi,
I just formatted my computer and internet explorer 6 does
not seem to be working well. When i try to scroll down
the page there is some lagging in the movement, which
causes "waves" to form as i'm scrolling. kinda irritating.
Anyone who knows how to resolve this?

Thanks

I'm not sure, but:
Have "enable smooth scrolling" checked in IE options>advanced tab?
Display properties>settings>advanced>adapter>Optimal (refresh rate)?
Can't think of anything else other than a Widows Update issue, but that
related to very fast scrolling IIRC.

Try the following and see if it will help.

There is an option to set smooth scrolling in the display properties in
Windows. See if that's checked. If not check it and see if that fixes the
problem.

Also, try updating your video drivers

Hope this helps.

To UpdateThe Video Driver

Right click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
Click on Device Manager
Find Display Monitor and click on the + next to it
Double click on the file listed

Here you will find the information on your video driver. Then go to the
website for mfg. of the video driver and look for the update to download and
install.

also

Try reducing hardware acceleration at control panel, display, settings,
advanced, performance.

Hope this helps.
