page numbers

Is it possible to put two page numbers on one page? Text is in 2 columns on
8-1/2 x 11 sheet, landscape, to be cut in half. I'd like to put a page
number on each half (column) of the page. ??

You can, but a much better way to achieve this in Word 2000 or above is to
use the "2 pages per sheet" option (Margins tab of Page Setup) and insert
page numbers normally.
