Page file

I have a couple of old 4Gb 5200 rpm hard drives sitting around doing
nothing. Would it be worth adding them to my system and striping them
(using XP Pro Computer management) to use for the page file? Or am I best
leaving the page file in its' curent location on my 7200rpm boot drive.

Thanks in advance.

It depends on what controller you will put them if it is SCSI go but with
IDE - I'm not sure, that you will gain something (because of technology),
but if swap file is heavilly fragmented on your main drive you can try ;) or
you can move it on separate partition on your main one.

The drives are IDE and I have tried it out now. The speed gain is not
really impressive enough to actually warrant using them. I'll probably use
them for a small machine for my kids to play on.

Thanks for your advice.
