"Page cannot be displayed message" consistently on certain sites

Hi-- I am having a problem registering on personals sites
that have anything sexual in the title. I do NOT have the
content advisor enabled, and I am old enough to register
for these sites if I want to. I keep getting the "page
cannot be displayed" error message. Any ideas?

Did you install a HOSTS file that may be blocking them?

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
