Page cannot be displayed Error in Site Preview

I am new to FrontPage 2003 so I'm still learning the application. The SBS
guide doesn't go into enough detail to answer this question.

I am converting my company web site (http://dwightstroleassoc.com) from
Yahooo SiteBuilder to FrontPage. I am also making the switch to page Frames
layout with a more consistent and easier to modify template for all pages.

I brought my menu buttons over from SiteBuilder and the main buttons on the
contents frame seem to be working fine as I change hyperlinks. However, I
suddenly seem to me having problems with some of the additional buttons on
the succeeding pages in the main frame. Some hyperlinks seem to be working,
while others are displaying inconsistent results (depending on which internet
browser I preview in). Sometimes the wrong page displays (usually an old
page that was assigned to the button), at other times I get a "The page
cannot be displayed" error. I've double-checked all of the hyperlink
assignments to be sure they are correct, but I still am having problems.

I was thinking that perhaps the internet browser page cache needed to be
purged, so I cleared all temporary internet files, cookies and history in IE
6, but I still get the errors. I've even closed the web site in FrontPage
and rebooted the computer.

I'm really puzzled since everything seemed to be working fine earlier in the
day.

Any suggestions?

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download a copy of
FP Cleaner.

Run the functions that:
Clear the FrontPage Temporary files.
Clear the Cache(*.web) files

Then, open FrontPage, open your web and before you open any pages for
editing, click tools > Recalculate hyperlinks.

See if it helps.

Thanks for the advice, Steve. I followed all your instructions, but still
have the problem. I even removed the links from the buttons, but still have
the problem (I am surprised that the buttons still work after revmoving the
hyperlinks. Its as if I'm modifying the wrong web pages).

I've wasted literally hours on this one little problem and have not been
able to resolve it. Given the difficulty, I am not inclined to upload the
new FrontPage web site to my web host. Errors like this make me
uncomfortable making the switch to FrontPAge with my web host.

Any further suggestions?
