When I print a excel spreadsheet, I want to print it 11x17 but it is not an
option on my machine. On other machines to the same printer I can select a
different paper size, not on mine. Why is this?

Also, sometimes the print preview isn't what prints. For example, the
preview won't show a border around the spreadsheet, but when I print, a
border prints around the entire spreadsheet. How do I turn that off?

Some printer drivers have options to make things look pretty (including
watermarks like Preliminary/confidential). I bet some have the option for
borders, too. (My printer doesn't.)

A couple of questions:
Can you print 11x17 from any application?
Are you sure you're using the same printer driver as on your other pcs?

Maybe a visit to the printer manufacturer's web site and a download of their
newest driver (and the installation) would be in order.

This is a network printer, so the computer is using the same driver as the
other computers.

From this computer I can print 11x17 from excel to a different printer, but
not this one printer, the option is not there.

Just because you are printing to a network printer, doesn't neccessarily
mean you are using the same printer driver ... even if the printers are the
same brand. Drivers are loaded based on the printer manufacturer and printer
model and individual options of that particular printer.

It sounds to me that you have two different printers on the network, one
with 11x17 capability and one that doesn't.
