Two questions: Does this work on non-Sony machines and does it support DVD-
RWs? It looks to only support CD-RWs.

I have no idea. You asked for a packet writer; this is a packet
writer. Try it and see...it only has 4 files and uninstalls cleanly.

Still not tried, but what about this (HP Direct Letter Access - VERITAS
soft)?

It's safe alright, so safe infact that it won't install. ;o)

I tried the HP stuff once. Wouldn't work for me with a non-HP recorder.
