P4T533 mem

What all system memory will work with P4T533?
I have 512 RIMM4200 at present. With only 2 slots I have to dump(sell?) the
2/ 256 sticks and buy 2/ 512's. At over $500 that sucks when other mem is
about half that for a gig. Any info appreciated.

You would pay less, if you replaced the motherboard and RAM with DDR RAM.

Yes, you have to sell the 256's and replace them with 512's (or you
could replace just one and have 768 megs). You are correct that the 512
meg RDRAM modules are very, very expensive (about $250 each, IF you can
find them).

Samsung's web site actually does list a single 1 gig module as being in
active, volume production (this would let you get 2 gigs on the board),
but I have never seen such a part offered for actual sale.

I have, however, seen the 512 meg parts on E-Bay, sometimes for far less
than the prices charged for "new" parts from dealers.
