It is generally a bad idea to put optical drives on the same channel and
cable as Hard drives. If your board is the P4P800 Deluxe, you will have 2
RAID channels and you can put your 3rd hard drive on one of those. If one
of your Hard drives were a SATA drive, then you could use one of the SATA
drive ports. Or, you can buy a cheap ATA PCI controller to control your 3rd
HD.
You might conceivably get away with a HD on the same channel as an optical
drive, but my own limited experience showed me that this was a recipe for an
unstable system that likes to blue screen.
