P4C800Dlx CD connector, SoundMax CD volume controller not working

Hi there,

I have a Plextor on IDE1 no other drive connected to IDE1 the Audio CD cable
is connected from Plextor to the MB CD input.

I've also tried moving the Audio cable to my Pioneer 106 DVD on IDE2 still
it is Wave in SoundMax controlling the volume.

So I would expect when I run SoundMax to control the CD volume that it would
work but no the Wave volume controller controls the CD volume am I doing
something wrong here how do I get the CD volume in SoundMax to control the
CD volume?

P4C800 Deluxe
1 gig 3200 RAM
IDE1 Plextor Premium
IDE2 Pioneer 106 DVD
SATA1 non raid x 2 Seagate SATA 120 HDs
SATA2 non raid x 1 Maxtor SATA HD
ATI AIW 9800 graphics

Any pointers or fixes?

Hi there,

Sorry I figured that bit out had to move from Digital to Analogue in Media
Player now if only I can get rid of the warning triangle because of some
issue with the Mic and I don't have a Mic plugged in?
