P4C800 Deluxe freezes when accessing CD's

If anyone could help Iwould be very happy. Not always but several times a
day it just freezes when I insert a CD. It doesn't matter witch drive.
I might also freeze if I have a CD in the computer when it boots up. It
freezes instantly so I get no errors or any logs.
I reformatted the computer 2 days ago and it didn't behave like this before.
The only change in the computer is that I now have a raid 0 set. The same
thing happened today at work. There i have a P4P800 deluxe with a S-ATA
disk (no raid). Everything is installed, no overclocking. Latest bios and
firmware on everything, latest drivers.
I work as a computer technician and consider myself a "almost" harware guru.
Never had a problem before that I didn't manage to sort out.

But on this one I need help.

Not sure, but InCD may delay the boot for few seconds.

However, one of my CD-RW, a no-brand one, sometimes hangs as it spins too
long
and the whole PC freezes. Sometimes I have to force a cold-turkey shutdown
by turning
off the power, wait for a minute and reboot.

The problem is more or less related to CD drive or software conflict rather
than to the board.

You need to ask Microsoft why inserting a CD into a drive can stop a modern
computer. Sounds like a case of a shit operating system engine to me.
