Remove the peer-to-peer application such as Kazaa
that's causing the problem.
Run a good spyware removal tool such as Spybot Search and Destroy or

Update Windows with all critical updtates.
Ensure your anti-virus software is updated with current virus definitions
and, do a virus scan of your computer, enable real-time virus scanning.
