Overlapping display

I am trying to help a friend who has the following difficulty. On certain
web-sites, the components displayed appear as overlapping each other. She
most recently mentioned www.tedworthpc.co.uk, where the 'marquee'-streamer
overlaps 'Your Messages', so that she is unable to access the latter.
Changing her screen-resolution does not affect this.

Any suggestions ?

Which version of IE? Help > About Internet Explorer and on what version
of Windows?

It's running nicely here on XP SP2 and IE6.0. Also in Firefox 1.5...

She uses IE6 and XPHome. I now understand from her that the part of the
display that causes difficulty is not the 'marquee'-streamer, but the white
text announcing committee-meetings. My apology for that, which I hope has
not inconvenienced you.
