Over-ride Idle Sign Off

Hello
I'm having a problem with using my pc to do my banking. Things work well
and database is very well designed.

One problem I'm having, for example, if I'm logged in and have the database
on and I'm focusing on reviewing check register, if some or any type of
activity is not done, the program defaults back to the login page.
This gets very annoying after a while.... called the bank sys opt, states
"...just the way software is set up."
Is there ANY way to over-ride this type of monitoring?
I don't use any type of screen saver program, and I have the monitor and the
pc set for "NEVER" to turn off.

I didn't mention it, but it's not just simply use a login and password.
I have to go through quite a few procedures to get me back to where I was
working.

That's a feature of the bank's software which is beyond your control. It's
designed for your protection.

Sometimes clicking the mouse or typing a character in an input box every now
and then will maintain your connection to the web page. But a better
solution is to print the page(s) you want to review and log out of your
account.

Hey Ted
Thanks for your reply.
I had an idea that this was something "in their control".
I've got a laser mouse, so maybe I'll just put it on my papers and let my
arm keep moving it .. lol
