Outsourcing to India (C# Development)

Has anyone got any knowledge of experience of Indian C# work?

I have several C# projects, but UK costs are too high for me to
develop the projects. I was advised to take on Indian staff.

I recently attended a London meetup session (see http://www.meetup.com/)
and several people said they were outsourcing large parts of the
software development to India and Poland. I was quoted one cost of
1500 pounds (about 3000 USD) per month for a developer.

I also met one man who worked in Microsoft for years and he said most
of the work is done in India.

Does anyone have any reliable weblinks I can use to get Indian staff?
