Outlook2002 & Extra Line Breaks

I am using Outlook 2002 (10.4712.4219) SP-2. I am contstantly
receiving message: "This message has extra line breaks. To remove
click here."

I can not find a setting to permanently remove line breaks.

It is creating havoc with messages I have saved.
