Outlook Xp (2002) Compatibility With Outlook 2003

I have Office Xp Professional SP3 loaded on my Xp Home Edition SP2 PC. It
seems, since I installed Office Xp SP3 and Windows Xp SP2 on my home
computer, I no longer can open emails generated at work on Outlook 2003.

When I attempt to open a 2003 emails, I receive a "X" Notice, "Outlook
cannot open this message. A newer verion, such as Outlook 2003 or later is
required to open this message."

Is there a software patch or update required? Or, is there a setting
required in the Options Folder? Please help!

You probably set up Outlook 2003 to use a unicode format for the .pst file. It is incompatible with previous versions of outlook.
