Outlook won't seend outgoing emails

I've got three separate email accounts (all with comcast.com) on my outlook
program on another computer.
Recently for no reason I can fathom, all outgoing email on each of these
three email accounts fails to send.
Incoming email all works fine on all three accounts. Comcast says it's a
problem on my computer and assisted in reviewing all of the settings but to
no avail in solving the problem. I even reinstalled Outlook but the problem
remains.
Can anybody suggest a solution?

Just to say I am having exactly the same problem - about a week ago all my outgoing emails in Outlook 2007 seemed to fail - i have had no read receipts back for any and the intended recipients have told me they have received nothing. My incoming email seems fine, and all messages are saved in the SENT items folder just as if they have gone off. I even did a system restore going back 2 weeks (to when my email was working) but it does not seem to have helped.
Any suggestions?

Do they remain in the Outbox?

What happens if you test your accounts in the email setup.
