Outlook won't maximize

I am running Outlook 2000 on a Windows XP SP2 machine. When I minimize
Outlook and click it from the taskbar it will not maximize. I get a beep.
However, if I right-click it from the taskbar and select maximize, it does
work. Also, if I do Alt+Tab it will maximize there as well.

This problem is unique to Outlook only and I cannot find any reasoning or
possible solutions to fix this. Hopefully someone can help. Thank you.
