Outlook will not receive email after installing Office service pack 3

Good afternoon,

Just installed the Office Service Pack #3. I receive the
following message when I try to access my BellSouth DSL
email account. "Sending & receiving error (0x8004210A):
The operation timed out waiting for a response from
receiving (POP) server."

Can anyone help?

Same problem, ever since installing SP2 my outlook is
refusing to download my email from my server (doteasy) w/
the same message "Sending & receiving error (0x8004210A):

The operation timed out waiting for a response from
receiving (POP) server."

WTF--what the freak!

Don't expect an answer anytime soon. I had to MANUALLY remove SP2 because it broke my Office 2003.
Methinks the answer will come from whichever mysterious Microsoft department that fills up those
Knowledge Bases or Update areas.

Same problem...downloaded Service Pack #3 and now this problem (which was
supposed to be resolved by Service Pack #2 continues). I have follwed the
instructions in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827349/EN-US/ and the
problem continues.
