Outlook Web to Client Version

Somebody please help! I am trying to set up my Outlook 2007 client version
and have royaly screwed something up. First of all, my Web Outlook will tell
me I have mail by indicating the number in parenthesis next to the Inbox
folder ie. (8). I will therefore know I have new mail, however, I can only
view the actual e-mail on the my Client version of Outlook. Now, if I want
to respond to the e-mail, I have to copy and paste it into a New Web Outlook
message in order for it to send. This is quite frustrating. My outlook used
to work correctly but I dont know what has changed. Please help! and let me
know if more info is needed to resolve the issue.

There is no "Web Outlook". You must refer to Outlook Web Access (OWA)?
This means you are using a corporate Exchange account?

If you see no new email via OWA, then make sure you have set your view to
show all email; you might have a filter applied now.
What happens when you try to send directly via Outlook?
Any error messages?
Has this account actually been set up as an Exchange account and not as POP3
or IMAP?
Are you trying this from within the company or outside the company?

Yes I am using a Corporate Exchange account. I have got the Outlook Web
access to now work as far as receiving e-mails. My client version is set up
as an IMAP account and I use it outside of the company which is located
overseas. I now receive emails through both the OWA and client version. I
can also send from the OWA, however, I can only send e-mail through my client
version from home. I travel frequently for work. Is there a way I can use
my Outlook client version outside of my home?

That would depend on if your corporation have allowed you to use their SMTP
server from outside the network. If they don't, you'll have to use the SMTP
server of the network that you are on when away from home. It's similar to;

It would be better to ask them if they can set you up for Outlook Anywhere
(RPC over HTTP). This way you can send and receive away from the office and
will have access to all the Exchange features.
