Outlook unable to connect to MSN mail server

I use Outlook '02 as my main email reader. For the last
month or so, after I download my email and open a message
or two I suddenly get the message: "A connection to the
server could not be established. http://oe.msn.msnmail.
hotmail/cgi-bin/hmdata is now in offline mode." At this
point I can still open what emails I have and even send
replies, but I cannot delete messages or download any
additional messages unless I reboot.
Any idea what this problem is and how to fix it?

Reconnect by choosing File-> Connect to Hotmail
