Outlook trying to migrate bad settings

My old Outlook (Office XP) hasn't been used for several months. I installed
Office 2003 and when launching Outlook it is trying to migrate the old
settings (I did a full uninstall of Office XP but something apparently
remains), it can't find the server or the old folders so it won't startup.
any ideas?

Uninstalling doesn't delete data files or most settings files. Do you not
want to use your old .PST file (your set of personal folders) from Outlook
2002? Actually, you should let Outlook 2003 create a new .PST since it's a
new format, but you might still want the data from your old file. What is
the exact error message you're getting when you try to run Outlook?

I was able to take care of it by going into the Control Panel -> Mail
settings and just deleting the profile. I then started over with the new
Exchange Server info and was able to load my old .pst no problem.

Thanks
