Outlook to Windows Mail

Can you tell me step by step how to move outlook mail from my old computer
with XP to my new computer with vista and windows mail? Thanks!

I think you can install Outlook on the Vista computer, and copy your XP .pst
file over.

Then open Windows Mail and import from Outlook.

Or continue using Outlook, if it's 2002 or newer.

Transfer your email and addresses from Outlook to Outlook Express on the OLD
computer. Copy the .DBX and .WAB files created by the transfer to the new
Vista machine and import them into Windows Mail. This page should help:

Okay I am very computer illiterate. I just got a lap top and my old computer
is that very old like 9 plus years. I am at a loss on how to copy info and
sending it to the lap top. I need a very step by step way to accomplish
this, as I said I do not know much about computers, still learning. The .DBX
and .WAB files is all greek to me. I checked the page
