In what window are you trying to see this? It must be in an open message
window. Why not save it in the Drafts folder?

I would like to save it as a template, I make up the email then click save
as, in the drop down list option I used to be abel to save it as an outlook
template - then go to tools - forms - choose a form - user template in system

Seems easier to me to open the Drafts folder, select the message, and click
Forward, but to each his own. What do you see in the "Save as type"
drop-down on the Save As dialogue?

I have Outlook 2003, and it's there.

With a message open, File - Save As.
Click the Save as type field at the bottom.

Do you not see "Outlook Template (*.oft)" in the list?

Why are you not quoting the messages to which you're replying? I can see
you're using Windows Mail, so I know you have the ability to do that.

Thanks Noel, no I do not see that file - I recently re-installed the software
- it was there before...

Brian, I don't understand what you are asking.

I was responding to "Noel C", not you. Couldn;t you see the reference I
included to that person?

The light dawns. You're using Word as your mail editor. Create the
template using Outlook's built-in editor. You'll see the OFT choice then.
