Outlook Stuck

Still Stuck Tony

PLEASE HELP-I AM STUCK!
Running Outlook 2003 and OS is MS 2000. Created a new
Exchange mail account, in addition to my
POP3 email accounts (Exchange account newly added today-
Outlook using only POP3 was working perfectly).
Running Outlook 2003 and OS is MS 2000. Once complete,
the IP address to host was resolved fine,
etc., but for some reason was not able to connect. I
closed Outlook to reboot machine (running MS 2000), but
when tried to restart Outlook - it just sits there (Not
Responding). When I close Outlook via Task Manager or
Application Recovery Tool, it tries to open in Safe Mode
(never opens), or go through recovery process (shows
successful), but never opens. I have also tried to remove
the new acct. via Properties in Outlook - but it also
never responds.

I also removed all Exchange references via regedit.

I have uninstalled Office 2003, reinstalled, still get msg
when open Outlook that failed to close correctly last time
and get choice to open in Safe Mode. Choose YES - goes
through process of configuring/repairing Office 2003, then
when try to open Outlook again, just hangs up showing
beginning splash screen.

Thank You, Tony

I get the same message about failing to start correctly. I have no idea how
to fix it. Did you fix your problem and if so how?
