Outlook stopped working.

I'm running Office XP Standard on Windows XP. After I downloaded iTunes,
outlook stopped dead. I can't send or recieve, add contacts, print
calenders, etc. Whenever I click on a button I get one of two error
messages. "The operation failed", or "The messaging interface has returned
an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook." I tried that,
downloaded many upgrades, SP3, etc., and tried the repair disc. I also
removed iTunes. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be greatfuly
appreciated.

Sorry. I didn't see any reply to my first post, so I thought I was in the
wrong section, so I posted again. I'll just have to learn to be more patient.
