Outlook Stall & Locks-up when receiving

Lately my Outlook stalls and locks-up everytime I try to send/receive on
about the 3rd to 4th email...Tried the detect and repair with no
effect...Tried the scanpsi.exe to repair psi files.. It did repair the files
but no improvement... I have updated my McAfee Virus checker.... Deleted all
my old emails to be sure I had plenty of free space....Anybody have any other
ideas to try...

It could be something in the message it's trying to download. If you have
the ability to examine your mail server via a web interface, see if there's
an unusual message there. Also, disable any mail integration with your AV
checker.
