Outlook shuts down same time each day

Lately, Outlook has been shutting down on it's own (it asks if I want
to send a report to MS). It seemed to be every afternoon. Yesterday,
I decided to track when I start it and when it shuts down to spot a
pattern. Although I started it at different times, it shut down at
exactly the same time each day, 1:10pm eastern standard time. Any
thoughts on why?

Hi Will,

As it asks to send a report to MS, Outlook doesn't shut down but rather
crashes. Do you send the report to MS? Which Outlook version are you
using?
This is a rather weird error. Only two possible explanations come to my
mind right now: Either some add-in is going crazy at exactly the same
time every day (you can test this by disabling all add-ins and see if it
still happens) or you have some virus on your computer. Do you have an
up to date virus scanner? When was the last time you ran a full system
check?
I am really not sure what your problem is. This is going to take some
troubleshooting...

Yes, I've been sending the reports to MS. I'm using Outlook 2003, SP2.
FWIW, I am also using the Outlook for Domino connector since our
corporate email is Notes. (I can't stand the Notes client which is why
I am one of a few people out of 3,000 clients using Outlook. It isn't
supported, but I work in IT so I can get away with it)

How do I tell if I have add-ins and how do I disable them? I'm
assuming the Outlook to Domino connector counts as an add-in?

Yes, we use Symantec and our Windows policies force updates and regular
scans on each machine in the domain.

Thanks for the reply.

Some additional information I found. Looking over the Application Log
in Event Viewer, I found the following:

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8010.0, faulting module
nnotes.dll, version 6.5.30.4258, fault address 0x001379c9.

The same entry is in the log for each time Outlook had a problem. It's
not always happening at the exact same time, but it is in the
afternoons. I looked through mail to see if something was arriving
around the same time as the crash occurs (thinking maybe a rule was
misbehaving) and couldn't find any associations there. Just to be
sure, I've turned off all the rules for the time being.

Looking at the faulting module nnotes.dll...That looks like your Lotus
Notes Connector is causing a problem. Are you running the latest
version?
