Outlook should not default Open Reading Pane in some folders.

Why does outlook's reading pain default Open in the Junk Email folder? If
there's a script worm that does get caught by the junk filter, it will be
installed if the user clicks and opens this folder....dumb!

Same goes for Deleted Items, or just about any other folder.

I see many users complain they don't like this to default open, but my
complaint goes further than not liking this--it's simply not safe.

The reading pane is quite safe. Outlook doesn't run scripts in messages and or run attachments. In fact, Outlook 2003 SP2 shows all messages in the Junk Mail folder in plain text and disables all the hyperlinks.
