Outlook should allow us to print a calendar for each color label.

I have given each family member or group of members (i.e., sally, jim, whole
family, parents only, etc.) a color on the Outlook calendar. It would be
nice to be able to print each color label (or select labels) a calendar of
his or her own. This way I, Mom, could print out Sally's calender each
Sunday evening to send to school with her the next day. It would have on
there her soccer games, piano lessons, parties, etc and still room enough for
her to add her assignments and make notes or add tasks. This would be really
helpful.

Diane,
Thanks-- I think I see where you are going. I viewed your link and can now
change the view, but under the filters I see no where to select for labels.
I did see where I could put something under 'automatic formatting' and choose
appointments with given parameters, but not exactly what I was needing. Can
you help?
Thanks!

Choose Filters, then Advanced tab. In the Field field, type Label or select
it from the Field dropdown. Choose the appropriate condition and Value.

The Automatic formatting option is to apply a label to a lot of label-less
items, such as if you upgraded from an older version and have a lot of items
without labels. You don't need that as you applied the label when you
created the items.

Diane,
Jeez, I feel like you're just about to tell me I'm too stupid to have
Outlook, but here goes: I am all the way where you said to go and understand
the concept, but when choosing the appropriate condition and value, the old
label names are there, not the ones I changed them to. I tried to select it
based on position in the line-up. For instance, what used to be 'important'
on the label list is now 'Sally'. So, I chose 'important' to see if it would
work and it didn't. How can I let this particular menu know I changed the
names of all my labels? Then I think it'll be done! I looked for this in
"help" but couldn't word the problem well.
Thanks,
Chellie

Diane,
I think I got it to where I can live with it! This is great that Outlook
can do this. I'm impressed! I inadvertently set a filter that was keeping
items from showing up so I thought the previous step I told you I took wasn't
working. I decided to try it with different family members and their labels
and it worked so I went back and found the mistake. However, if there is an
answer to the question about letting Outlook know that I changed the label
names, I would love to know. I did have to select the 'old' label name and
count down to find the appropriate position in the line-up to do it. But,
'Sally' has her own calendar now and I even figured out how to put a list of
views on the screen so I can easily toggle between them or each family member
can quickly see his or her own calendar. This is so fun!
