Outlook setup

I've just moved from Outlook Express to Outlook.
I have one problem, one irritation & one question. (So far)
Problem - when I send a message (doing it to myself to test) I get the
message 3 times. Is this because I have two aliases set? Any ideas how to
stop this?

Irritation - How do I set Outlook to open with the Inbox selected?

Question - in monthly calendar view can the day (eg Saturday) be shown as
well as the numeric day of the month
