Outlook sends many emails

I use Outlook 2002 and it works fine till I send or forward more than one
image attachment in the same email? Example I forwarded on 10 image files
yesterday to a friend in teh same email and outlook is saying send and
receive 100% in the bottom right of my screen but it just keeps sending and
sending and my friend got 77 emails yesterday all the same!

Does anyone know why this happens? It does not seem to like large files for
some reason? Thanks Keith

1) Disable scanning outgoing mail with your antivirus program
2) Lengthen the server timeout value on the Advanced tab of you account
properties pages
3) Make sure your send/receive interval is no less than about ten minutes.
