Outlook sending messages when I haven't sent any!

I have Outlook 2007 and have noticed that when sending and receiving messages
appear to be being sent via an old account that I do not use very much
anymore. There is nothing in my outbox waiting to be sent and nothing
appears in sent items after they have been sent.

I am convinced it must be some form of virus or worm but Norton isn't
picking anything up.

Any suggestions?

I don't think so - I haven't received or sent any messages via this account
for weeks. Also, it says sending message 4 of 4 - if it was a read receipt
wouldn't it be a single message?

The message isn't being sent as it my ISP is blocking it which makes me
think it was a virus or worm of some description.
