Everytime I try to send a message I get this error message Task
'(e-mail address removed) - Sending reported error (0x800CCC78): Cannot send
the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The
server responded: 550 5.1.0 Authentication required. The e-mail address are
correct so I cannot figure this out....could someone please help me?

Make sure you are using port 587 for SMTP (outbound emails).
Enable authentication for SMTP in the email account defined in Outlook.

The message tells you what is required - you need to authenticate to the outgoing server using the incoming server's credentials. It is on the account properties tab of your email account.
