You would be better off setting a rule to move incoming messages to their
specific folders and then using the Unread Mail search folder to display
them. (Depending on your version of outlook, which you omitted to tell
us....)

You can manually run rules on messages you've already read. There's no way
to have rules run automatically on read messages.
